2026 South Island Junior Training Camp

We are pleased to invite you to the 2026 Junior Karate Training Camp. The
camp will be held on from Friday 25th of September through to Sunday the
27th at Camp Tirohanga, Dunedin

The camp itinerary is specifically aimed at Juniors and we promise a range
of fun activities aimed at expanding our Karateka’s knowledge of Japanese
Culture this year.

All junior karate-ka who wish to attend must be at least 8 years old and in
the opinion of his/her instructor of sufficient maturity to fully participate in
the camp. Children under the age of 8 may only attend if accompanied by a
parent, and with the approval of their dojo instructor.

We are reliant on volunteers to help in the kitchen and with activities,
volunteers pay only $50 to cover basic camp fees. Parents who train are
most welcome as are non instructor chaperones. We will endeavour to make
sure they have training opportunities. Please complete the adult information
form for any adults attending. Numbers will be limited.

The camp requires details and confirmation of numbers prior to our arrival.
It is therefore important that every camper completes and returns their
application form to me by the cut off date.
