On behalf of the Mas Oyama Karate New Zealand Kyokushinkaikan and the Kenworthy Dojo, please accept our sincere thanks you to all the competitors, instructors and support people for their efforts on Saturday and leading up to the event.
I'm sure you will all agree that it is the combined effort from everyone that made this event the great success it was on the day.
We have come a long way from the days where we were struggling to make the numbers to hold national events. I truly believe the contributions from all our dojo in MOKNZ, with camps, gradings and tournaments over he past few years, have encouraged our students and instructors to bring their support.
Also, to have the support from the other factions of Kyokushin and other styles of karate, especially those that aren't traditionally full contact, shows that we have something valuable to offer to everyone.
Feed back so far from everyone has been very positive, but please don't hesitate to talk to me if you have any ideas or thoughts that may help to further improve any of our events.
Finally, please extend our sincere thanks to all student, parent and family supporters that helped in any way. Their contributions must also be acknowledged.
